Seperti sudah menjadi kebiasaan, versi Steam diperbarui pertama di tahap yang sangat akhir siklus tes / release untuk memastikan tidak ada hot-perbaikan yang diperlukan untuk 1.12 pembaruan sebelum memproduksi update ritel di satu atau dua hari.
